Introduction
This is an open internship assignment: depending on your background, personal skills and interest we have numerous opportunities within ASML for bachelor or master students with a background in mechanical engineering.
Job Mission
The Optomechanical department is responsible for optomechanical designs for the ASML machine and the source that is used in the machine. The focus is on stable designs for high power source optics and for the optical column of such a machine. Main competences of the department are optomechanics and precision mechanics.
Depending on your background, personal skills and interest we have numerous opportunities within our department. Assignments are open to discussion and can be tailored. Examples of subjects we are currently working on:
- Developing stable lens/ mirror mounts for the ASML machines
- Develop analytic tools for optomechanical development of modules.
We also welcome your own proposals in which you can apply your selected technologies and methods to our industrial environment. We can offer conceptual - as well as more practical assignments.
You are a Bachelor or Master student in Mechanical engineering. You are a conceptual thinker, have good communication skills, a clear drive to master your project and bring it to a planned end within the agreed period of time. Your grades are excellent and you have a strong motivation for ASML as your future employer.
As this is an open assignment, please attach a motivational letter with assignment proposal, a recent grade list to your application and if applicable send a portfolio of your work done for previous internships or assignments.
Please keep in mind that we can only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole internship period) for our internships and graduation assignments.
