Internship: Supporting the Internal Audit Team at ASML

Introduction

This is an apprentice internship for a master student with a background in Accountancy, Controlling, Economics, International Business or Information management who would like to support the Intern Audit department. 

Job Mission

Are you interested in making ASML a better, more effective, more efficient and safer firm? Within ASML, the Internal Audit department is responsible for more than 30 audits per year, including process audits, IT audits, program audits and location audits. These audits involve identifying key risk areas, interviewing managers and employees in various areas of the business, assessing whether (and how effective) risks are controlled and reporting conclusions to the board of ASML. 

We are looking for a student interested in Internal Auditing and willing to become part of the Internal Audit team of ASML.

Job Description

As a team member you will provide support during the field work and reporting stages of audits. Your work will include:
• Assisting in interviews with auditees;
• Analyzing (process) documentation relevant to the audit;
• Assisting in performing data analytics;
• Analyzing results of IT security assessments;
• Drafting the report and discussing preliminary observations with the lead auditor and audit director.
 

Education

You are (preferably) a master student with a background in Accountancy, Audit, Controlling, Economics, international Business or Information Management. 

You work effectively and efficiently and have an eye for details. Furthermore, you are able to show initiative and you can work independently. You have excellent Dutch and English formal and informal communication skills, both in speech and writing. In addition, you are experienced in working with Excel.

We are looking for an intern to do an apprentice internship for preferably 6, but minimum 3 months. 

Please keep in mind that we can only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole internship period) for our internships and graduation assignments.
