Sales Internship

As of August 1st, 2021 we are looking for a sales intern for the AH&Jumbo team.

As a Sales intern you are part of the largest sales team of Nestlé Netherlands: AH&Jumbo. The AH&Jumbo team works for brands such as: MAGGI, GARDEN GOURMET, KITKAT, PyjamaPapje and NESCAFÉ. Together with the account managers and account support, you are responsible for the cooperation and turnover of both AH and Jumbo. We are a young team and work in a dynamic environment where every day is different. Your position is very varied and offers room to develop further than only within your basic responsibilities.

As a Sales intern you have the following responsibilities:

•    Helping in the launch of innovations and relaunches;
•    Supporting in execution of promotional activities, monitoring during and evaluating after the promotion;
•    Assisting in creating external client presentations;
•    Involved in the preparation of strategic category sessions and annual negotiations with customers;
•    Maintaining and creating customer/category dashboards;
•    Extract consumer insights from available customer data tools.

As a sales intern you will be supervised by a Senior Key Account Manager in team AH&Jumbo.

The challenge at Nestle Netherlands

Besides hard work and a lot of learning, the social side of an internship should not be missing either! Because of the open and informal atmosphere at the office there is always room for fun, a coffee break, playing sports together and enjoying fun activities. There is also a close intern community at Nestlé. Intern cases and dinners are organized and there is a weekly intern lunch. Under the current circumstances, we also organize online events such as a Q&A with the CEO, an online escape room, pub quiz and many more.

An internship at Nestlé has a duration of 6 months and starts on the 1st of August 2021. Normally your internship will be at our head office in Amstelveen, but because of the current circumstances, we work from home. Unfortunately, we do not know yet how this will look like from the 1st of August, but we will follow the guidelines of RIVM. We prefer fulltime interns, but it is possible to discuss writing a thesis for one day a week (please indicate this clearly in your motivation letter!).
