Perfetti Van Melle is executing a global supply chain transformation to enhance product quality even more, reduce our waste and carbon footprint, while reducing cost.
As part of this transformation we build and implement a new Plan & Deliver concept in Europe, to increase performance for our customers, produce more efficient, and increase the speed to go-to-market. We want to reduce our environmental impact significanlty by working smarter and working agile. The transformation is in it's design phase and implementation starts early 2023. The regional supply chain team will be responsible for 10 factories and all countries/markets in Europe.
For all workstreams we have dedicated teams. We welcome students for internships to participate in one or more teams and actually help implementing the new structured way of working. We have opportunities for Bcs and Msc students in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business or a related field.
Your core tasks in a nutshell:
Most importantly you are interested in Supply Chain Planning and have strong Excel skills. You take action and are detail oriented and you bring forward new ideas. You are willing and able to tackle autonomous tasks as well as be a valuable member of the team.
- You must be enrolled as Bachelor/Master student for the whole duration of the internship (If you are not an EU-Citizen, you must be enrolled at a Dutch university).
- You are fluent in English - written and verbal.
- You are willing to travel to Amsterdam or Breda, NL (Note if you are abroad you are required to relocate to the Netherlands and get a BSN).
- You are available on short notice from and for a minimum of 5 months; 4-5 days a week.
- You will be part of an international environment where every day is a fesh adventure, full of new possibillities and opportunities to learn.
We are looking for candidates for internships in supply chain. Working from home, our office in Amsterdam or Breda. Some international travel might be required.
