Omschrijving stage opdracht / taken
Aircraft Noise
Aircraft noise is an important topic for our surrounding communities. Therefore we employ a large network of noise monitoring devices around the airport, called NOMOS. NOMOS is approachable via http://noiselab.casper.aero/ams/.
In light of recent events, there has been a renewed interest in the NOMOS system. The minister of the department of Infrastructure and Water management has indicated that she will set up a national program to study the applications of noise measurements: https://zoek.officielebekendmakingen.nl/kst-31936-518.html. To that end, we need to:
-increase our knowledge of the current measurement system.
